Due to their huge popularity among sports enthusiasts and professionals, Linde Werdelin is expanding their SpidoLite SA line by offering two new models: the all black titanium DLC coating and the rose gold version with black DLC details. The new models are operated by the same 1970 automatic movement featured in the titanium version; the movement was modified by the outstanding watchmaker Svend Anderson from the Anderson Genève Atelier.
The use of rose gold was particularly complex, but Linde Werdelin’s team improved the technique of drilling the watch case. In fact the new sophisticated drilling technique enables the user to securely attach the Rock and Reef instruments on top of the case. Thanks to the sapphire crystal case-back it is possible to admire the modified movement with the blue gold rotor plate bearing the Linde Werdelin and Anderson Genève logos. The SpidoLite SA family characterizes (manifests) the ongoing collaborations that Linde Werdelin has forged with independent watchmakers. “We wanted to create a SpidoLite SA for every taste. The collaboration with Svend Andersen has been just the beginning of even greater projects to come in the future” says Jorn Werdelin, Managing Director of Linde Werdelin.
